I like to embrace fashion trends, sometimes they are not for me, but other times they are right up my street. I’m not a huge fan of big prints or florals but I am loving the current trend of embroidered tops that are out there on the High Street at the moment.
You don’t necessarily have to be a fan of the boho style to follow this trend. There are so many choices in stores at the moment, not necessarily with bold and big prints but with small ones too.
Here are some of my favourite embroidered tops
ZARA
Zara is my go to place in the High Street. They always get the latest trends and recreate them at an affordable price. This is a gorgeous top combining embroidery and lace. With short bell sleeves it will be perfect for the summer months. I love the floaty, delicate style of it and it’s something I’d wear a lot when on holiday.
NEXT
This is probably one of the best embroidered tops out there. It comes in red and also in a pale blue, but I don’t think the blue does it enough justice. I got the red version a couple of weeks ago and I have worn it quite a bit. I was originally in two minds about getting it as I thought it was a bit on the expensive side for a shop like Next. It is £40 but it’s really excellent quality. The material is thick, perfect enough to wear it in spring.
BODEN
Boden always gets it right. The colour combination and the print in this top work really well together. It’s a bit more expensive than the Next version but it’s gorgeous and thanks to it’s long sleeves it can also be worn either in spring or summer.
MANGO
If you are after a casual top this Mango sweatshirt will be perfect for you. With striking embroidery across the front and sleeves, it will be a top to wear any time, not just in the summer months. The embroidered design on this sweatshirt might be a bit bold for some but it’s still one of my favourites out there.
What do you think of these tops? Are you a fan of the embroidery trend? Is it a trend you will be wearing?
