As you are reading this I am counting the days til I go on holiday. There are so many new trends out this season, and I feel that a definite shopping spree is in order if I’m going to make myself fashionable in time for the sun.
In particular, there are three things that have caught my eye, so I thought I’d take today’s post to share them with you and hear about your own fashion wishlists.
- Step out in a gypsy top
I love the collections of gypsy tops that are in the shop windows right now. I love an off-the-shoulder cut, and there are some stunning ones available right now, like this one, that are perfect for the beach or for a night out.
You can also get a lot of bold patterns that are better for when you throw on a pair of high-waist skinny jeans and sandals and head down to the shops. This season, you can’t go wrong with these as an addition to your wardrobe – they easily go with any item and they’re perfect for British weather, as they’re light to wear but you can buy them with sleeves for when the clouds set in.
- Pick out a pair of espadrilles
These are one of the most comfortable fashion must-haves I’ve ever come across, and they are originally from Spain. If you haven’t encountered them yet espadrilles are the best casual flats I’ve ever owned. They’re usually made from a canvas material or other cotton fabric for the top section, with a flexible sole made of either jute or another natural fiber. They are perfect for a boho look with their rugged edging, and many of them have hand-sewn embroidery. You can get them in so many colours and styles too, so you will always find a pair to match your outfit. I love these ones

Why not go for a white pair and add a brightly coloured skater skirt for an instant daytime look? Or how about pairing them with cropped jeans that highlight a stunning pattern, like glitter or florals?
- Layer up on charm bracelets
Layering up your bracelets has been a trend for a while, but I’d never thought of layering charm bracelets in different styles. I’m loving this trend right now though; instead of picking matching sets of jewellery, spice things up a bit, boho-style, and put a selection of bracelets together like those from ChloBo.

I love anything with stars and hearts on, so these bracelets are perfect. Aside from the fun of selecting charms personal to you, the different colours and textures mean that you can make your arm band collection completely unique.
What do you think of my summer fashion wishlist? What’s in yours?
