Today I bring you a very special giveaway to celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished Co-op food store on Old Street in Shoreditch.
The Shoreditch store is the first one to showcase the Co-op’s new blue clover-leaf logo. It will be followed shortly by a second store in St Paul’s.
The return to their old logo and the store fascia incorporating the name of the location makes it look really fresh and also fits well in trendy Shoreditch.
The Co-op Shoreditch is in 185 Old Street, very close to Old Street Station, so if you are in the area pop over to check their new look.
I moved to London from Spain many years ago so I don’t remember the Co-op’s old logo. I really like the idea of them going back to it, and it gives the stores a contemporary look.
The Co-op has also this week announced new membership benefits, which will reward members and their communities for trading with them. Members will receive a 5% reward for any purchases they make of Co-op of brand products and services, with a further 1% directly benefiting local causes. The benefits will be available to all members from autumn this year.
These are all great benefits if you are a Co-op member, and it’s great that the Co-0p will be working with local causes.
