One of the perks of being a blogger is that sometimes you get invited to press days and events. The press days are a great opportunity to get a sneak peek at what the brands have in store for the following season. So on one of the hottest days days of the year I popped over to probably one of the most amazing houses in central London – One Horse Guards, to have a look at what Neptune has to offer for Autumn / Winter.

Neptune is a brand that I always associate with kitchens but of course they do much more. Anything from sofas and armchairs, to bathrooms, lighting and glassware.

Teal, chestnut and fox are the colours Neptune has chosen for next season and what an amazing combination they are. I love bold colours and although I am very cautious with them in my own home, I was taken aback at how beautiful they look together. Their teal kitchen looks fabulous, giving it a contemporary, homely look. Neptune uses natural materials and respects traditional craft as much as modern, and that is what makes them quite unique. Their kitchens are not only beautifully designed but they are also practical and perfect for family living.

Velvet is here to stay. Featured heavily in their chairs and sofas, it oozes sophistication and glamour and it’s the perfect texture for winter. Velvet alongside teal and chestnut create a warmth feeling that makes you want to relax and unwind at home

A small Christmas selection was on display at the preview and let me tell you, it was stunning. Christmas trees were up, candles were burning and a beautiful Christmas table was laid out. Lots of greenery was adorning the room in all sorts of size vases. It was very much rustic meets modern and it really works.

Thanks a lot Neptune for inviting me to your Autumn / Winter preview. Now, when can I move in?
