For many years I have been after a leopard print coat but somehow I have never been brave enough to purchase one. It might be my partner’s references to Kat Slater -remember her? whenever I mention leopard prints or might just be me not being adventurous enough to wear bold clothes.
I am getting older and I guess with getting older comes a bit more of confidence so I might finally take the plunge and get myself a leopard print coat. I have been lusting after a coat for a while but I have also fallen in love with this Topshop dress. It is totally gorgeous and I can see myself wearing it with black opaque tights and black boots, equally perfect for the school run or for a night out. The key with any bold print is to make sure you keep the rest of your outfit neutral, black or nude will be perfect when wearing a leopard prints.
Accessories like these Boden flat shoes – how gorgeous are they?, the Ted Baker Clutch Bag or Reiss’ Faux-Fur scarf are a great option if you want to use the leopard print as a tiny accent. The simpler the rest of your outfit is, the more the touch of leopard will stand out.
I love this coat, it beautiful and just what I am looking for. Unfortunately it is sold out online, so I might have to wait to see if it gets restocked or will have to carry on looking for another one. Can you recommend an affordable one?
