Fashion, photography and textiles are three passions of mine so it comes as no surprise that I love books, especially coffee table ones. Coffee table books make great Christmas gifts, especially if you have a fashionista to buy for. They usually have gorgeous, beautifully curated pictures and they look great either on display or on a bookshelf.
Here below I have put together a selection of my favourite ones, so have a read if you are looking for inspiration.
One of the most popular magazines in the world, Vogue, is now 100 years old, so what a better way of celebrating their anniversary than publishing a book celebrating their best moments. Vogue 100: A century of Style revisits the best moments in photography, fashion and beauty. It features iconic designers and photographers that have been influential in the world of fashion in the past 100 years.

Dior New Couture by Demarchelier – Patrick Demarchelier is one of my favourite photographers. I remember scouting around fashion magazines as a teenager trying to spot his pictures so one of this books is a must have for me. Filled with exquisite photographs of the iconic fashion house, this will be the perfect present for a fashion or photography lover.

Peter Lindbergh: Images of Women – Peter Lindbergh is one of the great fashion photographers of all time. His black and white portraits are quite dramatic and he is one of the masters of street photography. This is a beautiful book featuring not just super models but also other well known celebrities. I still keep at home the catalogs he made for Loewe in the late 80’s featuring Linda Evangelista and Yasmin Le Bon, the pictures are beautiful and 30 years on they don’t look dated in the slightest.

Chanel: Collections and Creations – Which fashion lover doesn’t love Chanel? Chanel is epitome of elegance and class and this book is a must for all the lovers of the iconic fashion house. There are chapters dedicated to perfume, make up and of course, their emblematic image – the camellia.

Manolo Blahnik : Fleeting Gestures and Obsessions – Manolo Blahnik is one of the greatest and best known shoe designers of the past forty years. Featuring never before seen photography of his designs and interviews with the man himself, this is the perfect book for shoe lovers.

Have you got any of these coffee table books? Which one is your favourite? Will you be buying one to gift at Christmas?
