On Trend | Vibrant Pom Poms

It’s no secret that I love colourful interiors. I am a woman of contrasts though. I love a grown up, classy, contemporary look but I also like a playful one. This is one of the reasons why I’m loving one of this year’s interior trends, the pom poms. Pom poms are a fun way to add colour and texture to your home and used the right way can help you to achieve a modern look.

These are some of my favourite picks below:

PomPoms

Accessorize Pom Pom King Duvet Set – £75

Graham & Green Striped Pom Pom Woven Blanket£165

Olliella Pom Pom Basket – £35

Pablo Blue Buttonbox Cushion – £47

Bluebellgray Cerise PomPom Linen Cushion £58

This duvet Set  is the perfect option if you want to go for a fresh look. It’s on trend and colourful but not too much. It’s also ideal if you are not too keen on the boho chic style and want to implement the pom pom trend in a more subtle way. However if you love the ethnic look these blankets should be in your wishlist. They are a great  way to add a splash of colour to a bedroom or  living room.

Using baskets as decorative items in the house it’s great fun. If you have kids they are a useful and neat idea to store toys, however I think these are too pretty to be used for toys. They’d look great on the floor in the living room or even bedroom. Great to store magazines or even towels in the bathroom.

I have been looking for cushions for my living room for over a year now. Still haven’t decided on any. I’m very indecisive, I want some that will look luxurious and colourful and that will not look dated within a couple of months. For some reason I keep coming back to these Bluebellgray ones. I just love the cerise colour, and the trim of colourful pom poms all around them. I have now seen these Pablo Blue Buttonbox ones which I also love. The texture and patterns will look great in my living room. The contrast of the velvet on one side and wool on the other one makes them quite versatile. I now have a dilemma and not sure which one of these two to go for!

What do you think of the pom pom trend? Is it a yes for you?

  1. I am SUCH a fan of the Pom Pom trend! I keep toying with the idea of putting them on the parasol of our dining set!! I think they'd look amazing! And I'm a real fan of Bluebellgray too - I love their things! Thanks so much for linking up Elena! Caro x #HomeEtc
  2. It's a yes from me! I have seen some really lovely bits in Zara with pompoms too. It's a very cute look, think it would look great in my eldest daughter's room xxx
