Where to get the best petite jeans

Let me tell you something about me, not only I am short, but my legs are disproportionately short compared to the rest of my body. Yes, it’s true. Buying trousers is always a bit of a mission and even petite ranges are sometimes a bit too long for me.

I’ve recently been on the search for a new pair of jeans and this has made me realize how it’s not always easy if you are petite. After trawling lot’s of shops and trying different styles and brands, I finally got the perfect pair in Marks & Spencer, one place I didn’t even realize did short length jeans.

Here are some of my favourite places to buy petite jeans:

1. Marks & Spencer Relaxed Skinny Leg£25

2. Next Denim Leggings£25

3. Boden Skinny Ankle Skimmer Jeans – £29.50

4. Topshop Extreme Indigo Hayden Jeans£42

5. Oasis Stiletto Skinny Jeans £45

Marks & Spencer

M&S have really upped their game recently. Each season they  nail it with their collections and always offer on trend pieces. Their petite jeans range is not huge but they have short and extra short leg options. I bought these last week in the short leg and they are super comfortable. They fit really well and they are quite stretchy. I love the relaxed skinny fit, a nice change from proper skinny jeans.

Next

Next has always been my go to for jeans. Their petite range is huge and you can find anything from super skinny to boyfriend style. High waisted, low rise, you name it, Next probably has it in it’s range.

Boden

Boden offers quite a good range of petite jeans, styles and of course colours. Their jeans are super comfortable and feel really expensive. What I love the most is that you can always pick up a discount code and get them a bit cheaper. They have a very handy fit predictor tool on their website, where you enter what size you are on other fashion brands and they predict what your Boden’s size is. Very handy especially if it’s your first time shopping there.

Topshop

Topshop alongside Next offer the bigger range of petite jeans. I must say I find their choice a bit overwhelming and I never know where to start from. Saying that, they offer probably the trendiest styles out there at the moment and their quality is great.

Oasis

Oasis don’t offer a petite range per se, but some of their jeans come in shorter length. I really like Oasis jeans, they feel really good quality and also their material is quite thick, like classic jeans are. I wish they expanded their range a little bit more as the choice is not great. I also find their short length, especially in some of their styles, is still a little bit too long for me.

These are some of my favourite brands but I’d love to hear any other recommendations you might have. I’m always keen to hear about other labels that offer petite ranges .
