I’ve had my Olympus Pen E-PL7 for nearly two years now. You can read my reviews here and here. When I first got it, the plan was to carry on using my Nikon D3000 and use the Olympus Pen for days out or whenever I didn’t want to carry the Nikon with me. But the Olympus is so light and compact that I’ve very rarely used the Nikon since.
As a family we try to make the most of any nice, sunny weekends and we always head to the seaside. One of our favourite places to visit in the UK is Broadstairs. With fine, beautiful sand, clear water and a nice promenade it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular resort.
We visited Broadstairs last Sunday and even though it wasn’t a really sunny day the kids still wanted to go to the beach. Isn’t it amazing how kids never feel the cold?
One of the perks of being a blogger is that sometimes you get invited to press days and events. The press days are a great opportunity to get a sneak peek at what the brands have in store for the following season. So on one of the hottest days days of the year I popped over to probably one of the most amazing houses in central London – One Horse Guards, to have a look at what Neptune has to offer for Autumn / Winter.
I am quite short, so finding the right length trousers or maxi dresses is always a challenge. Things like jumpsuits are usually out of the question for the same reason unless they are from a petite range, and let’s face it, petite ranges out there are not great, are they? Fear not, from time to time I find something that fits, something that I wouldn’t usually even give a second look in the shops but it actually looks really good on, like this jumpsuit from Monsoon. When I first spotted it I thought I’d try it on as it didn’t look too long. And to my surprise it fits just right, sitting above my ankle as it’s three quarter length.
I love Pizza Express. Fact. It’s one of our favourite restaurants to go to as a family and even my super fussy eater son loves their dough balls, but who doesn’t?
A couple of weeks ago I was invited alongside a few other bloggers to visit their newly refurbished High Holborn restaurant for a pizza party. A couple of glasses of prosecco and some nibbles and we were all ready to give pizza making a go.
