2016 Round up

I am not sure you, but it seems like the older I get the faster the time goes! I can´t believe 2016 is about to end as it seems like it was only yesterday we were saying goodbye to 2015.

2016 has been a great year for my blog. When I started it 18 months ago I wasn´t sure where it would take me or how long I´d keep it for.  The past 12 months have been truly amazing, I´ve had the chance to attend lovely events, like Homebase Christmas partySolan de Cabras launch in the UK , Mothers Meeting at the Outnet and  Estimation Nation Baking event with Smart Energy UK.

I´ve also had the chance to work with amazing companies, like Epson, The Co-op , Westfield  and Wayfair -to name a few. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities I´ve had and for the trust the brands have put in my blog.

These below have been my top 5 most popular posts of the year.  I have listed the links below in case you fancy reading in the new year.

On a personal level the last few months of this year haven´t been great. I lost my job at the end of October,  it wasn´t a surprise and it had been on the cards for a long time so I was not too upset. I’ve spent the past couple of months at home and I will be starting to look for a job shortly. Do get in touch me if you are reading this and have an amazing job offer….

At the beginning of September one of my closest friends took her own life, it was unexpected and I can´t still comprehend it. I do miss her everyday and I wish she had talked to me and told me how she felt.  If you have anyone close to you suffering from mental problems or depression, please, please do look after them and make sure they get the support they need.

Apart from my friend passing away I´ve had a great year and I am lucky to have a healthy and happy family.

I have high hopes for my blog in 2017. I am planning in doing more style and fashion posts, which is something I love and I hope to increase my readership. I have some exciting collaborations in the pipeline and I can´t wait to share them with you.

I want to thank all my readers for supporting me this year and I´d like to wish you all a very prosperous 2017.

How was your year? Was your 2016 a successful one?
